CAD Technician At Qk4, our survey field crews gather the data—and it's our CAD Technicians who transform it into something powerful. Working behind the scenes (but at the heart of every project), our CAD team turns raw field information into detailed maps, plans, and models that guide design and construction across Kentucky and beyond. As an office-based CAD technician , you'll collaborate with surveyors and engineers to produce high-quality deliverables using the latest software and technology. How you will spend your day: Receive data collected from survey field crews to generate maps and drawings to visually communicate land surveys of all types. Set up and prepare documents for review. Research survey records, deeds, and map to identify property boundaries and areas subject to survey. Work closely with other team members and adjusts drawings/specifications in a timely manner based upon team feedback.

Successful candidates must possess:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalency certificate + 1-2 years of CAD experience or Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or Vocational computer aided technology training.

Competencies :

Demonstrated ability to know and apply CAD modeling concepts and technical applications. Must be detail oriented, with proven ability to manage time and meet project deadlines. AutoCAD, Carlson Survey or Microstation software experience preferred. Cultural Fit Client success begins with taking care of our people.
