Survey 360 Technician
Job Description
The Survey 360 Technician will operate equipment that is used for underwater acoustic projects, high-definition laser scanning surveys, dimensional control surveys, and aerial drone surveys. The Survey 360 Technician will be a champion and leader of our company core values while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction.
Some responsibilities include:
Leading a crew for hydrographic and laser scanning projects Loading project required equipment into automobile and/or boat prior to traveling to the job site Operating robotic total stations, associated navigation, positioning and heading-motion reference unit systems Scanning field capture and processing scan data as outlined per the project scope Completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion and being diligent in field procedures High school diploma or equivalent is required Minimum three (3) years of related experience in land surveying and/or hydrographic surveying Proficient understanding of geometry and trigonometry Ability to travel; may require frequent travel and some overnight stays to customer sites Must be authorized to work in the United States
