Survey Crew Chief (2+ years experience), Instrument Operators, and entry level positions available. At least two years of prior experience is required for crew chief position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform construction stakeout and preliminary topographic survey, boundary and construction survey for military, public and private clients Measure and verify elevations, angles and distances while operating various types of survey equipment Interpret maps, plat, construction plans and specifications Establish and locate property corners Physical Requirements Load and unload survey equipment and supplies from the company truck daily Ability to lift and carry object up to 50 lbs. and be able to hammer wooden stakes Ability to walk over rough and uneven terrain Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered spaces including active construction sites in various types of weather conditions Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Current NC DL required Ability to pass a criminal background check 1-3 years of survey crew chief experience or related experience required for crew chief position Perform tasks in a safe and conscientious manner Check, clean and adjust survey equipment and supplies daily Good communication skills Detail oriented Reliable transportation to and from our office
