Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, geometry, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Survey Technician will work closely with engineers and other professionals to support various surveying projects. Duties Assist in the preparation and execution of survey plans and layouts. Utilize hand tools and surveying equipment to gather data in the field. Must be able to work outdoors. Operate 3D scanners for accurate data collection and modeling. Analyze survey data for accuracy and completeness. Maintain equipment and ensure it is calibrated for optimal performance . Qualifications Experience with surveying software such as MicroStation, Carlson, or Civil 3D is preferred. Familiarity with utility locating techniques is a plus. Ability to operate a 3D scanner effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
