Job Description This position is for a CADD Technician within our Utilities Group. The CADD Technician plays an essential role in supporting PennDOT Utility Coordination projects. This position is responsible for preparing and updating utility maps, revising drawings, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and utility coordinators to resolve utility-related challenges on highway projects. The CADD Technician ensures all deliverables comply with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike standards and upholds the company's core values in a collaborative work setting. Key Responsibilities Below are the key responsibilities for this role: Develop and maintain CADD files for utility coordination projects, including 2D mapping and creating 3D utility models to support PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike requirements. Revise utility mapping based on survey results, utility provided plans & subsurface utility engineering results. Coordinate activities within PA One Call's Coordinate PA application, accurately entering and communicating project information to stakeholders. Participate in utility field views and document meeting minutes for utility coordination meetings to support project communication. Prepare utility verification plans, conflict plans, and subsurface utility engineering recommendation plans. Identify conflicts between PennDOT projects and existing utilities. Draft real property interest documents and perform deed research to locate easement documents related to utility property interests.
