Survey Technician - Construction & Surveying (OOJ - 43211) NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Feb/25/2026 Job Description Are you a detail-oriented survey professional with a passion for precision and data? Join a leading engineering and construction support team as a Survey Technician, where your expertise in surveying, CAD, and Civil 3D will directly support field operations and ensure projects run flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pre-calculations for construction-related tasks. Download as-staked and topographic data, generate contours, calculate volumes, and create clear, accurate exhibits. Review incoming and outgoing data to ensure alignment with plans and specifications. Prepare accuracy reports for the Project Manager. Maintain and prepare surveying and engineering CAD and Civil 3D files. Collaborate closely with field crews to maximize efficiency and project output. Perform other related office and project support duties as needed.
Specific Duties:
Develop topographic maps and aerial mapping outputs. Process topography shots and aerial targets. Conduct survey calculations to support construction staking and field crews. Analyze survey control data and boundary calculations. Research record survey documents to establish control for mapping or staking projects. Prepare exhibits, spreadsheets, corner record documents, and ALTA survey maps.

Education/Experience:
High school graduate with some college or trade school background; survey experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
Proficient in survey software and processing capabilities (e.g., Trimble systems). Strong understanding of solid geometry and trigonometry.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and related software. Why is This a
