Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description

Land Surveyor SCO Planning, Engineering & Surveying, Inc - Grass Valley, CA 95945 SCO Planning and Engineering is currently seeking a Land Surveyor. Responsibilities will include research, preparation of surveys, field surveying with robotic total station and/or GPS, processing of surveyor data, drafting and map preparation. Earnings On Experience.

Requirements:

Knowledge of/ Experience using AutoCAD Land Desktop or Civil 3D; MS Office and Excel. Able to work in a collaborative environment and interact with staff, clients and government agencies. Good communication skills (both verbal and written). SCO offers a competitive compensation package based on experience.
