What they do
A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Land Title Surveys Construction Staking & Layout Roadway and Infrastructure Projects Commercial Development Projects AsBuilt Surveys Platting and Land Development Qualifications Current Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license Strong land surveying and project management experience Experience successfully estimating surveying projects Ability to interpret construction plans, engineering plans, plats, legal descriptions, and survey documents Strong organizational and timemanagement skills Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Working knowledge of Florida surveying standards and requirements Experience with AutoCAD and surveying software is a plus Why Join Land Precision Corporation?
