•$40 seeking an experienced Senior Pilot Surveyor / Survey Party Chief to lead drone-based land surveying operations supporting residential, commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. This role combines traditional land surveying expertise with cutting-edge UAV technology. The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership experience, expertise operating survey equipment, deep knowledge of land surveying practices, and hands-on experience utilizing FAA Part 107-certified drone technology in surveying applications. What You Will Be Doing Lead and manage a 2-3 person survey field crew on land surveying projects Conduct boundary, topographic, construction layout, ALTA/NSPS, and FEMA elevation surveys Operate drones/UAS platforms to capture survey and mapping data Utilize GPS, total stations, and data collectors to gather accurate field information Interpret survey plans, legal descriptions, deeds, plats, and project specifications Coordinate with office survey staff, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders Document field notes, sketches, asset tracking data, and survey deliverables Ensure field operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with surveying standards What You Need For This Job 3+ years of land surveying experience 1+ years as a Survey Crew Chief, Party Chief, or Field Supervisor FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate

PREFERRED

Experience operating drones/UAS for surveying, mapping, or geospatial applications Proficiency with Total Stations, GPS systems, and Data Collectors Strong understanding of boundary, topographic, construction, ALTA, and elevation surveys Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 75 pounds What's In It For You Full benefits package.
