A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description
As a Field Technician with OZA Inspections you will primarily conduct structure condition surveys and conduct vibration monitoring on construction sites. The job includes review of private property, residential, commercial and industrial, visual inspection and photographic documenting of the structure conditions prior to vibration causing construction. Actual duties will be dictated by ongoing project contracts and requirements, so candidate must be adaptable and flexible to evolving innovation. (no experience necessary) Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle. Flexible to occasionally travel for up to 2 weeks at a time. Interior/exterior inspections, outdoor site work Self-reliant; work independently. Organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Competent in verbal and written communication Must be able to travel to Canada should some training be required.
