A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

We are seeking another motivated person who loves land surveying as much as we do. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside, and in the office, on a weekly basis, as we fully believe in having well rounded employees on our staff. If you have a lot of experience, or newly graduated from a land surveying department, we are interested in talking with you if this sounds like a company you will enjoy working long term. Responsibilities Data collect information for residential topographic surveys, Corner Records/Records of Surveys, and Parcel Maps. Utilize Leica Robot and other surveying instruments. Prepare topographic, corner record, record of surveys, parcel maps with AutoCad Qualifications Experience in land surveying, or a degree in land surveying. AutoCAD class and the ability to demonstrate basic skills. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments and in the office. Valid driver's license is required for travel to survey sites. Pay depends on level of experience.
