We are a fast-growing family meal delivery business that provides busy families with a full week of fresh, fully prepared dinners every Monday night to get them through their busy weeknight dinners. (RoseysFamilyFeasts.com) Each week, we create a brand-new menu featuring a variety of cuisines—Mexican, Italian, American, Middle Eastern, Asian, and more—crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our team works together in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen to prepare, package, and deliver hot, delicious meals to families across Orange County. With increasing demand, we're looking for an experienced line cook to join us for our weekly Monday shift from 9 am to 3pm. This role requires not only strong cooking skills but also fast and efficient knife skills, as you may help with some prep before jumping into cooking. If you thrive in high-volume kitchens, work well under pressure, and can execute dishes quickly and consistently, we'd love to have you on board!What You'll Do:
- Handle both prep and cooking duties—you'll help with high-volume ingredient prep before moving into cooking.
- Execute cooking tasks quickly and efficiently according to our menu, recipes and prep plan.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to prepare multiple family-style meals.
- Ensure consistency in portioning, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
- Maintain excellent knife skills to chop, dice, and slice ingredients quickly and accurately.
- Jump in wherever needed—our team is all hands on deck to ensure meals are ready on time.
- Follow kitchen protocols and safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
Who You Are:
Highly Experienced:
You have strong line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen setting.Fast & Efficient:
You work quickly while maintaining quality, especially with your knife skills.Strong Prep Skills:
You're comfortable doing both ingredient prep and cooking in a fast-paced setting.Team Player:
You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and step in wherever needed.Detail-Oriented:
You ensure accuracy in prep, cooking times, portioning, and presentation, as well as various dietary restrictions within meals for certain families.High-Energy & Focused:
