Land Technician / LSIT AutoCAD Civil 3D || W2 Locals Only

Job description: Land Technician / LSIT - AutoCAD Civil 3D We are seeking a motivated Land Technician / LSIT with strong land surveying experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting field and office survey activities, preparing maps and legal descriptions, and working on right-of-way and land documentation projects. Key Responsibilities Perform routine land surveying work as part of a survey team Make precise survey measurements using conventional and modern survey instruments Interpret legal descriptions and survey data Research title information and assist with boundary determinations Prepare maps, plan profiles, road cross-sections, contours, and topographic drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D Support right-of-way, easement, permit, and land acquisition activities Prepare legal descriptions, reports, and correspondence Process land documents including permits, quitclaims, and easements Conduct field inspections and assist with encroachment investigations Perform survey calculations and review mathematical computations Required Qualifications Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) certificate preferred 2+ years of Civil Engineering or Survey Technology training and/or equivalent land surveying experience Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with land surveying, boundary surveys, title research, or right-of-way documentation Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work both in the field and office environments Valid California Driver's License required Preferred Qualifications Utility, transportation, or infrastructure project experience Experience with easements, legal descriptions, and boundary determination Familiarity with GPS/GNSS, Total Station, or Trimble survey equipment Work Environment Combination of office and field work Must be physically able to perform field survey activities Keywords LSIT, Land Surveying, AutoCAD Civil 3
