Survey Crew Chief

Job Title:

Survey Crew Chief Responsibilities Operate Trimble Total Stations Robotics daily under the guidance of a Crew Chief to complete survey tasks for project sites. Perform all aspects of stakeout and location surveys using state-of-the-art survey equipment. Maintain the survey equipment in excellent condition and ensure the survey truck is stocked with necessary supplies and tools. Collect and submit data related to topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys, as well as Construction Stakeout. Essential Skills Proficiency in land surveying, including topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys. Experience with survey instrument operation, specifically Trimble Total Stations, Leica 3D Laser Scanner, and Trimble GPS robotics. A valid driver's license is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. College or technical courses related to surveying are a plus. Prior instrument experience is preferred. Strong communication skills are very important. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
