2989937271-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Plains is seeking a Land Records Management Specialist to maintain accurate land, right-of-way, and easement records supporting our midstream energy assets. In this role, you will interpret and record legal descriptions, titles, leases, and agreements; update GIS and land management systems; and ensure data integrity for pipeline and terminal assets. You will coordinate with legal, engineering, and operations teams, support regulatory and audit requests, and track obligations, payments, and renewals. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, experience with land or title records, and a commitment to safety and integrity. Responsibilities Maintain and update land, right-of-way, and easement records for pipeline and terminal assets Interpret and record legal descriptions, titles, leases, and related land agreements Enter and validate data in land management and GIS systems to ensure accuracy and completeness Coordinate with legal, engineering, operations, and commercial teams on land issues Track key dates, obligations, payments, and renewals related to land and right-of-way agreements Support internal and external audits, regulatory filings, and compliance reviews Research land ownership and chain of title using public records and internal databases Prepare summaries, maps, and reports for project planning and asset management Ensure all work adheres to Plains' safety, integrity, and ethical standards Contribute to process improvements for land records governance and data quality Required Skills Land records management Title research and chain of title analysis Legal description interpretation Right-of-way and easement documentation Land management software (e.g., Quorum, Land Works) GIS and mapping tools Data quality and records governance Microsoft Excel and database reporting Regulatory and compliance documentation Cross-functional communication
