We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Site Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a brighter, more sustainable future.
Position Overview:
The Roof Site Surveyor is responsible for visiting residential and commercial properties to collect accurate measurements, assess roof conditions, and document site details needed for successful solar and roofing installations. This role works closely with the sales, design, and operations teams to ensure each project is properly evaluated before installation begins. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights while providing a professional experience for every customer.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site roof surveys and inspections. Take accurate roof and property measurements. Document roof conditions, electrical equipment, and site access. Capture photos and complete survey reports. Identify potential installation challenges and communicate findings to the design and operations teams. Ensure all information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers.
Qualifications:
Roofing, construction, solar, or surveying experience preferred. Comfortable working on rooftops and climbing ladders. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
