Job Description

As the Senior Sustainability Lead with the Jacobs Electronics team, you will have the chance to work with a highly creative multidisciplinary design team dedicated to optimizing building performance and design excellence across our global portfolio of semiconductor and datacenter projects. Within our group, you will help direct project sustainability certifications as well as day-to-day operations for a wide range of mission critical projects & buildings. You will bring your own diverse experience and best practices and apply them to our projects, managing and delegating work to help our projects achieve their established sustainability goals. You will help organize and participate in meetings with designers, contractors, and owners and assist with business development, proposals/contracts, and new project setup. Professional degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Sustainability, or similar from an accredited program At least 10 years of relevant professional experience for building-related design and construction projects Demonstrated progressive overall experience in an Architectural, Engineering, or Sustainability Consulting organization LEED AP with BD+C Specialty (credential must be active) Experience as the LEED Project Administrator on projects which have completed certification under LEEDv4 Detailed knowledge of sustainability and integrated design process Demonstrated knowledge of strategies and systems related to occupant wellness, energy efficiency, daylighting, indoor air quality, materials assessment, stormwater management, and other common sustainability-related topics Strong organizational skills to help facilitate multiple projects at one time, communication skills (both verbal and written) skills, creative problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively coordinate with architectural and engineering project team members, both internal and external Professional experience writing and developing project reports and presentations Demonstrated software experience with Bluebeam studio and Microsoft Office Enthusiasm, accountability, and a goal-oriented attitude Ideally, you'll also have: Additional professional credentials (e.g., CSI Construction Documents Technologist or equivalent) and/or advanced experience with specifications, construction administration, and tracking material and product sustainability requirements. Additional sustainability- or energy-centric credentials (e.g. WELL AP, Envision SP, Living Future Accreditation, Certified Passive House Consultant, etc.), as well as related project experience Experience creating and working with client- or geographic-specific design standards Experience on fast-track, accelerated project delivery Already establish yourself as a sustainability industry leader or are well positioned to help build our reputation Formal education in buildings or infrastructure-related discipline, or sustainability/resilience (e.g., Masters, certificate courses) Additional requirements:
