Temp-to-Hire Opportunity through Allegiance Staffing Job Description Allegiance Staffing is currently hiring for a Test Technician position supporting a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Chandler, AZ. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career potential within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical aptitude, experience working with precision equipment, and the ability to follow detailed testing and inspection procedures in a fast-paced production setting. Responsibilities Verify functionality of IC test sockets, socket lids, thermal control units, and related components using established testing procedures and equipment Perform detailed visual inspections of intricate assemblies using microscopes and precision inspection equipment Conduct failure analysis and material investigations using laboratory analysis equipment Work closely with engineering teams to ensure testing procedures are properly executed Configure testing hardware and run automated test scripts through computer interfaces Analyze test data, generate reports, and archive records electronically Interpret test results and determine pass/fail disposition of units Enter transactional and production data into MRP/job tracking systems Perform calibration and maintenance checks on testing equipment Rotate between test stations and support multiple production/testing areas as needed Follow all quality, safety, and documentation procedures Qualifications Strong computer skills within a Microsoft Windows environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Experience using precision test equipment such as digital multimeters, thermometers, microscopes, and power supplies Ability to perform delicate and precise positioning of small components during setup and testing Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures consistently Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and bills of materials Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently and within a team environment Flexible schedule availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, or extended hours when required Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally Preferred Experience Semiconductor, electronics, laboratory, or manufacturing testing experience Experience with laboratory analysis equipment such as: Industrial X-Ray systems Infrared Spectrometers Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectrometers (EDS) Mechanical Load Frames (MTS/Instron) Benefits Upon Direct Hire Completion Employees who successfully complete the contract period and transition to direct hire status with the client company may become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including: Performance-based global bonus program paid twice yearly Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Multiple healthcare plan options including HMO, PPO, and HSA plans 401(k) retirement plan with company match Life, disability, and accident insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare & Dependent Care) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Paid Time Off program 13 paid company holidays annually This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing semiconductor environment with strong long-term career potential and advancement opportunities.
