Teledyne Relays is seeking a Test Technician to support our Solid-State group. In this role, electrical, functional, and automated testing of Solid State Relays (SSRs), Power Devices, Substrates, and Solid State Power Controller (SSPC) products in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and production schedules. This position troubleshoots product failures, performs fault isolation, documents test results, and supports continuous improvement efforts to ensure product quality and reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform manual and automated electrical testing of Solid State Relays, Power Devices, Substrates, and SSPC products. Execute fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on products that fail testing. Follow established test procedures, work instructions, specifications, and engineering drawings. Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment for a variety of applications. Accurately record test data, maintain labor logs, prepare reports, and document findings. Identify product nonconformances and recommend corrective actions or solutions to technical issues. Interpret schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to support testing activities. Verify product performance and compliance with quality and customer requirements. Assist Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams in resolving technical issues and improving test processes. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1-2 years of related experience in electronics testing, manufacturing, or a technical environment. Knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and procedures. Experience performing fault isolation, manual testing, and automated testing of electronic products. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and work instructions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of computers and data entry systems. Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement calculations. Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions with minimal supervision. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity for working with small components and test equipment.
