Job Summary:
The Test Technician is responsible for performing testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems to verify performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures Adapts to different test levels from lower-level Assemblies (Digital, Analog and RF) to box and system level. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans from Engineering to perform routine testing, check-out and troubleshooting functions of a simple nature. Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications. Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level. Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned. Able to work with PCs and applications such as Windows and other related software. Assist with companywide tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Two or more years of hands-on experience, either professional or gained through technical school/lab work, in testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems, with familiarity using common test equipment and tools. Willing to learn, on the job training opportunity.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 25 lbs.
