Technical Proficiency Stress Testing Full Job Description Overview:

This Environmental Test Technician position will be expected to interpret test specifications, collect, perform and document all in-test required data, including a wide range of simulated test conditions Needs to have knowledge of the following testing documents: Military documents, MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-24308. Mil- STD-810 SAE documents, AS39029, AS85049. Etc… Familiarity with

ISO-17025

General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is a must Needs to know the use of: Digital Voltmeters, Power Supplies, Load Cells, Force Gauges, Torque Wrenches, Data Loggers, Pressure Gauges, Megohmmeters, Hipot Testers. Hands on experience is a must. Knowledge of Military and Aerospace Connectors. Data Writing and Data proofing.

Experience with the following tests:

Contact Retention Contact Resistance Ambient and at High Temperature Low Level Contact Resistance Contact Engagement and Separation Force Insulation Resistance Dielectric Withstanding Voltage (DWV)

Torque Measurements Humidity, Salt, Altitude Testing Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or a GED equivalent. Having a related engineering degree is a plus. 3+ years' experience in related field. Will be expected to have strong understanding of the destructive testing world. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Laboratory Test Equipment, such as PLC Controllers, pressure transducers, electrical meters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples & other various similar laboratory equipment. Must be a self-starting, well-organized individual. Strong reading and writing skills with the ability to produce detailed technical reports. Knowledge of commercial specifications such as RTCA-DO-160 and

Military Specification:

MIL-STD-810

is required. Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel is required. Ability to type to input test data and reports. This position requires U.S. citizenship due to ITAR compliance requirements.
