$30.00 per hour We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation of motion control systems and electrical assemblies used in advanced industrial automation equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing of motion control systems and machine assemblies. Configure and test servo motors, servo drives, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, encoders, and motion controllers. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation. Verify positioning accuracy, speed, torque, synchronization, and overall performance of multi-axis motion systems. Utilize diagnostic equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers, power analyzers, and signal generators. Record test procedures, inspection results, and equipment performance accurately. Identify root causes of failures and work with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions. Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and performance standards before shipment. Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience testing industrial electrical equipment, automation systems, or motion control equipment. Experience with PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, servo systems, or industrial automation. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, industrial controls, and power distribution. Proficiency using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
