Location:

Rutherford, NJ Job Description The role involves conducting standardized quality control checks on products. The Test Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting products according to established quality and safety standards. The individual will populate inspection reports with test results, record non-conforming materials, and alert supervisors when necessary. Maintaining accurate inventory through necessary transactions in the ERP system and ensuring test equipment is properly calibrated and functioning are also key duties. Responsibilities Perform standardized quality control checks on products. Test and inspect products according to quality and safety standards. Populate inspection reports with test results as displayed on testing interfaces. Record non-conforming material within the proper logs and alert supervisors as required. Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory. Ensure test equipment is within calibration and functioning safely and properly. Essential Skills Mechanically inclined with experience in a manufacturing environment (6 months+). Ability to use hand and power tools such as wrenches and drills. High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as an inspection or quality technician. High level of visual awareness. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills. Attention to detail and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Experience in drafting reports and collating data. Ability to analyze and interpret technical information. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of ISO9001 preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be authorized to work in the US. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rutherford, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.33
