Electrical Test Technician responsible for testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and verifying electrical equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Experience testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and components. Experience using electrical test instruments, hand tools, and air tools in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting PLCs. Experience using computers to configure communications and test equipment. Knowledge of transformers, Wye/Delta connections, single-phase circuits, and three-phase circuits. Knowledge of protective relays and electrical control schemes. Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, and test procedures. Experience working safely around energized electrical equipment and circuits. Ability to troubleshoot energized circuits with up to 120 volts present. Ability to work around equipment with voltages up to 200 kV. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to travel throughout a manufacturing facility as required. Preferred Skills Experience performing quality assurance inspections on electrical equipment. Experience evaluating electrical equipment workmanship and functionality. Experience verifying equipment against engineering specifications and customer requirements. Experience testing industrial electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Perform electrical testing on manufactured equipment and components. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and associated communication systems. Use electrical test equipment to verify system performance and functionality. Inspect completed equipment for workmanship and conformance to specifications. Verify electrical connections, wiring, control schemes, and component operation. Review electrical prints, schematics, engineering specifications, and test procedures during testing activities. Document test results, equipment conditions, and identified defects. Perform quality assurance inspections before equipment release. Troubleshoot energized circuits while following applicable electrical safety requirements.

Pay:
