Job Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a student assistant, in a learning capacity, to work under the direct supervision of a Senior Transportation Engineer or Senior Resident Engineer. The student assistant will assist in the contract administration of transportation improvement projects in order to gain experience working in a professional environment. The student assistant will also receive direct supervision and work assignments from the Resident Engineers and/or Senior Transportation Engineer at the assigned field office within District 7. Internal Candidates Only. External Candidates Will Not Be Considered.
