Job Description:
- Parsons is now hiring a Senior Drainage Engineer to join our office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!
What You'll Be Doing:
- + Lead drainage design efforts for local transportation projects and for segments of larger alternative project delivery projects.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) + 8+ years of related drainage, stormwater, or transportation design experience +
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- + Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to storm drain and water quality design related directly to transportation projects. + Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and/or Civil 3D. + Proven ability to lead design tasks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- + Experience with CAD and other software associated with transportation design (Bentley and/or Autodesk).
DOT/FHWA
drainage, hydraulic, and hydrology standards and practices. + Experience with, but not limited to, SWMM Modeling tools (e.g., EPA-SWMM, XPSWMM, InfoWorks, PC-SWMM), StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcMap. + Significant experience writing and reviewing drainage reports and technical documentation. + Demonstrated experience leading drainage design teams and delivering complex drainage design packages.Security Clearance Requirement:
- None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
Salary Range:
