This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program.



About the

Role:

We areseekinga skilled and motivatedTraffic Engineerto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold aProfessional Engineer (PE) license inFlorida, orbe eligible to obtain one within six months. This role requires hands-on experience with transportation and traffic engineering projects across the state, including work with FDOT and local municipalities.



Your Responsibilities as a

Transportation/Traffic Engineer:

Prepare and manageFDOT Driveway Connection Permitapplications, including technical documentation and coordination with FDOT reviewers.



DevelopTraffic Impact Statements (TIS)for cities and counties throughout Florida.



Conduct operational analyses andtraffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic, including scenario development and LOS evaluation.



Performtraffic signal design, including plans, timing sheets, and coordination plans in alignment with FDOT and local agency standards.



Prepare technical reports, design documents, andsupportingcalculations.



Coordinate with clients, project managers, andpermittingagencies.



Support multidisciplinary teams on transportation engineering projects.



What we're looking for:


Bachelor's Degreein Civil Engineeringor related field.



Florida PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.3+ years of experiencein traffic or transportation engineering.



Valid drivers license and clean driving history.



Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Proficiencyin:
Synchro/SimTrafficHCS (preferred)MicroStation or AutoCAD (preferred)Experience with:
