Job Description

Our client is seeking a Highway Engineer to join its growing transportation team. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working on roadway improvements, highway design, multimodal transportation projects, and large-scale infrastructure programs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. You'll work alongside experienced project managers and transportation leaders on projects ranging from roadway reconstruction and corridor improvements to major highway infrastructure initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Prepare roadway and highway design plans and specifications. Perform roadway geometry design, corridor modeling, and plan production. Assist with drainage, utility coordination, traffic control, and design calculations. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams. Support transportation planning and engineering studies. Contribute to project delivery from preliminary design through final plans. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. EIT certification preferred; PE is a plus. Experience with roadway or highway design projects. Proficiency with MicroStation OpenRoads, InRoads, Civil 3D, or related design software. Familiarity with AASHTO and DOT design standards. Strong technical and problem-solving abilities. Why Join?
