Transportation Engineer Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on transportation. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a license which can be transferred. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting. Proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Open Roads Designer.
