Transportation Engineer We are seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer (PE) in Fargo, ND for one of our prominent clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering, proven leadership abilities, and a collaborative management style that fosters team success and operational efficiency. Transportation Engineer Summary Starting Salary Up to $110,000 + (DOE) Full Benefits, Vacation, and Holiday You will play a vital role in designing and enhancing the critical infrastructure that propels communities forward. Collaborating with senior transportation leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a variety of transportation projects, including roadways, highways, bridges, airports, and transit systems. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level engineer eager to deepen their technical skills while leading project tasks that will visibly impact both urban and rural areas. Key responsibilities include developing transportation plans, preparing construction documents, analyzing traffic flow patterns for safety improvements, and coordinating with contractors and public agencies. Transportation Engineer Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on transportation. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a license which can be transferred. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting. Proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Open Roads Designer.
