HARDESTY&HANOVER
is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to lead complex roadway projects in our Cambridge innovation hub. In this role, you will design and analyze highway and transportation systems using advanced CAD and modeling tools, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant solutions. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary software and engineering teams, translating transportation needs into data-driven designs. Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, preparing technical reports, and presenting to clients and stakeholders. You will mentor junior engineers while working in a culture that values continuous learning, bold ideas, and excellent client service. Responsibilities Lead design and analysis of highway and roadway projects using advanced engineering and CAD tools. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and DOT standards for safety and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional software and engineering teams on transportation solutions. Prepare technical reports, design documents, and client presentations. Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development. Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and quality control. Interface with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and present solutions. Leverage traffic modeling and GIS tools for data-driven design decisions.
