Full-Time Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with strong structural engineering experience to support major international monorail and transportation infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys hands-on technical design and is looking to expand into project management and leadership. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams on both small and large transportation projects, contributing to the design and coordination of complex structural systems. As the individual develops within the role, responsibilities will expand to include project oversight, client coordination, scheduling, and project management, creating a clear career path toward an Assistant Project Manager position. Key Responsibilities Perform structural engineering and design for transportation infrastructure projects. Design reinforced concrete elements using applicable international design codes. Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations. Assist with the coordination of complex structural systems and project deliverables. Work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination. Participate in client communication and project meetings. Assist with project oversight and management activities. Develop leadership and project management skills through hands-on project experience. Required Qualifications 7+ years of relevant structural engineering experience. Experience designing reinforced concrete element s . Familiarity with international structural design codes, including: Eurocodes
AASHTO ACI
Experience with structural analysis and design software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with transportation infrastructure, bridges, monorail systems, or similar projects. Experience with structural analysis software such as: Sofistik SAP2000 CSiBridge SP-Column MIDAS Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer ( PE ) license.
