Job Description

Quality Engineer:
Summary Responsible for ensuring products meet customer and industry quality standards by supporting process control, continuous improvement, and compliance with aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing quality systems. Collaborates with engineering and operations to maintain efficient manufacturing processes and uphold quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve manufacturing processes. Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Inspect finished products and verify production documentation prior to shipment. Prepare Certificates of Conformance (CoC), certification packages, PPAPs, and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports. Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with
AS9100, IATF
16949, NADCAP, ANSI, and ASTM standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in statistical analysis and quality methodologies. Experience with Control Plans, PFMEA, GD&T, APQP, and Design of Experiments (DOE) preferred. Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or metalcasting manufacturing is a plus.
Base salary:
$75k-$85k Plus full benefit package and 401k match
Pay Details:
