- Reliability is responsible for providing functional leadership and direction to approximately 10 to 15 Reliability, Human Factors, and/or Systems Safety Engineers.
Typical deliverables include:
Reliability/Availability/Maintainability program plans, test plans, and analyses; System Safety/Human Factors program plans, test plans, and analyses; Special Study Analyses; Product Service Life Assessments; Customer approved Fleet corrective actions; Performance incentive claim letters; Risk assessments; and Cost Performance Reports.Additional responsibilities include:
Management of a Web based software system to process and respond to Trouble Failure Reports; management of software development and maintenance for a hardware centric technical database; management of repair activities on several Fleet deployed electrical products; and serving as primary POC to customers for all efforts described above.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline with 9 years of engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of engineering experience. Project management experience; tailoring of requirements for reliability and system safety programs. Knowledge and experience in the reliability and system safety discipline. Experience in conducting failure analysis investigations for root cause; and statistical analysis of engineering data. Ability to read and interpret drawings and military specifications. Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all involved employees. Must be a US Citizenship Active US Government Secret Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline (preferred Mechanical or Electrical Engineering). Prior team lead, assignment manager and/or performance management experience. Experience on Navy programs. Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements development, or technical project management experience preferred. Understanding and knowledge of Agile (SCRUM) techniques and activities. Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, procedures and work instructions required to support both management and engineering tasks Experience with proposalsPrimary Level Salary Range:
$161,100.00- $241,700.
