Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards by designing control systems, inspecting materials, and analyzing performance. They conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Duties include:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, inspection criteria, and test plans to ensure product consistency. Perform, oversee, and document inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products. Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA). Review manufacturing processes and designs to find opportunities for optimization and cost reduction. Ensure all products and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with suppliers to maintain high-quaity raw materials and components. Prepare, analyze, and present quality reports to management. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required experience:
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field. Knowledge with PPAP, APQP and Proficient with MS Office. Proactive in identifying potential flaws in products or processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
