Job Description

Quality Engineer responsible for supporting manufacturing quality, process improvement, inspections, engineering standards, and factory-based problem resolution. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Technology, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Recent graduates with relevant manufacturing internship experience may be considered. Ability to work approximately 80% of the time on the manufacturing floor. Experience or academic background in manufacturing, quality, process improvement, or engineering analysis. Ability to perform inspections and evaluate manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Ability to work within established project plans and engineering procedures. Ability to spend extended periods standing and working in a factory environment. Preferred Skills Manufacturing internship or co-op experience. Experience with quality engineering in a production environment. Experience supporting process or procedure changes. Experience drafting or reviewing engineering standards and specifications. Experience coordinating with subcontractors or suppliers. Experience with engineering or quality data analysis. Job Responsibilities Support analysis of manufacturing methods, process steps, equipment, and material processes. Assist with development and feasibility testing of engineering solutions. Draft and update engineering standards and specifications. Evaluate the effectiveness of manufacturing and quality standards. Perform inspections under established procedures. Identify quality or process issues and recommend corrective actions. Support process and procedure improvements using change management methods. Coordinate technical activities with subcontractors and suppliers. Support product development and engineering activities. Analyze manufacturing and customer requirements related to product quality. Maintain and support knowledge management systems. Complete assigned engineering activities within project management plans and defined objectives.
