Position Overview As a Quality Engineer II supporting a front-end equipment assembly manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring product quality throughout manufacturing and delivery processes. This role partners closely with production, operations, engineering, and supplier quality teams to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities Identify and implement continuous improvement projects that enhance safety, quality, operational efficiency, and cost performance. Develop, monitor, and maintain quality control systems, processes, and procedures to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, engineering, and supplier quality, to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions. Utilize manufacturing and engineering systems, databases, and planning tools to support quality and production-related activities. Analyze manufacturing processes and performance data to improve product quality and operational effectiveness. Support quality initiatives across production and assembly operations. Required Qualifications Ability to work alternate shifts, overtime, and weekends as required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams, engineering groups, and external suppliers. Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in one or more engineering disciplines, including: Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Reliability Engineering Design Engineering Quality Engineering Experience working with engineering tools, systems, databases, and manufacturing applications. Preferred Qualifications Prior shop floor experience within a manufacturing environment, including experience in unionized facilities. Experience with error-proofing, quality assurance, torque tooling, or process control systems. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP systems, and related production software platforms. Knowledge of manufacturing data analysis, coding, or system integration tools. Experience with CAD visualization and drafting software. Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field preferred.
