Job Description

Quality Engineer 1st Shift $70,000 - 85,000
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing facility in Centerville, IN. In this capacity, you will offer technical guidance and oversight for quality control, assurance, and lab operations. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with internal, regulatory, and client standards, while simultaneously fostering ongoing improvements in operational efficiency, safety, cost management, and product quality.
Required Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrate 2-3 years of practical quality experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. Proficiency in utilizing CMM technology. Hands-on experience with APQP and GD&T principles.
Core Duties:
Help the team achieve project milestones by managing APQP deliverables such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and process capability analysis. Guarantee that all production outputs and quality management systems remain strictly aligned with customer specifications. Spearhead root-cause analysis efforts to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Facilitate internal and external audit processes while providing staff training and leading collaborative problem-solving efforts. Maintain and operate sophisticated inspection tools, including X-ray systems, spectrometers, and CMM equipment. Improve overall quality outcomes by interpreting inspection data and implementing robust corrective actions to address identified issues.
