Job Description

Summary We are actively seeking a Quality Engineer to serve as a liaison between customers, engineering, operations, and quality. This role investigates customer nonconformances and complaints as well as internal quality issues and will lead corrective and preventative actions to reduce defects and improve process capability. Responsibilities Communicate with customers regarding quality issues and corrective actions. Prepare and maintain PPAP, APQP, and other quality documentation. Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Use FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to reduce defects and process variation. Analyze process capability and quality data to identify improvement opportunities. Support continuous improvement, measurement systems analysis, and Gage R&R activities. Maintain quality systems, document control, calibration records, and audit requirements. Support
ISO/IATF
audits and corrective action follow-up. Provide quality training and technical support to production and engineering teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience. Experience with
IATF 16949.
Experience with Minitab or similar statistical software. Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, Control Plans, and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Six Sigma Green Belt and/or
IATF 16949
Auditor certification preferred.
