Quality is critical to our success. To maintain and enhance our reputation for quality, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team. Job Summary As a Quality Engineer at Indicon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical control products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities 1.
Quality Control:
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods. 2.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. 3.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. 4.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans. 5.
Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions. 6.
Supplier Quality:
Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues. 7.
Training:
Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. 8.
Testing and Inspection:
Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications. 9.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.). Familiarity with electrical testing and inspection techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. Proficiency in quality tools and software (Six Sigma, statistical analysis, etc.). Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. Must have experience in a disciplined, responsive customer service-oriented environment.
