Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world's aviation leaders. Ontic's Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace. Our team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Quality Engineering Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina. To be considered for the Quality Engineer opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality engineering or a related field Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards and FAA regulations Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality standards Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices Demonstrated ability in problem solving tools such as: 8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be highly competent in Microsoft based office and project tools Aerospace flight critical application experience preferred

knowledge/understanding preferred As a Quality Engineer , you will: Develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes Develop and document quality procedures and work instructions Ensure that the company's products and processes meet all applicable standards and regulations Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes Resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken Work with other departments to ensure the company meets all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Manage customer complaints/return material authorization (RMA) process Stay current with industry trends and best practices in aerospace quality Continuously improve the company's
