Engineering validation • quality and compliance testing What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Designing and developing comprehensive test plans and validation protocols aligned with design standards and regulatory requirements Executing functional, performance and reliability testing across engineering systems and components Analyzing test data, documenting results and identifying trends to support design optimization and compliance Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot failures and validate design changes in laboratory and field environments Maintaining detailed records of all validation activities within quality management systems (QMS) Supporting the preparation of validation reports and documentation for regulatory submissions Contributing to the establishment and refinement of testing methodologies and best practices across the team What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 2-5 years of validation, testing or quality assurance experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Hands-on experience designing and executing test protocols and validation studies Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and design control processes Familiarity with engineering design standards and testing methodologies Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to interpret technical data Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have ISTQB Certified Tester or ISTQB Advanced Tester certification CAD proficiency for reviewing design specifications and test fixtures Field application or manufacturing experience Experience with statistical analysis tools or automated test systems What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Hands-on technical work with clear impact on product quality and regulatory compliance Exposure to full validation lifecycle from design through manufacturing and field deployment Opportunity to develop expertise in testing methodologies and quality standards Collaborative environment with experienced engineering and quality teams Potential for contract extension or future permanent opportunities based on performance and business need Flexible contract terms with competitive daily rates reflecting technical expertise and certification About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group partners with leading organizations to identify and place highly skilled engineering and technical professionals.
