Job Description Position Summary As a Quality Engineer you will be part of a dynamic technical team driving high quality, manufacturing efficiency and productivity in a plant environment. This role will be focused on Supplier Quality.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary Duties include learning and applying internal and customer requirements. This will include ensuring zero defect focused quality levels by planning, developing, evaluating, and conducting current state analysis and leading the implementation of technical projects towards future state objectives. Problem Solving Research, select and implement solutions to a variety of problems using logical and analytical engineering techniques while ensuring compliance Communication Collaborate and communicate with various levels of the organization including production employees, supervisors, peers, subject matter experts and plant management Present detailed internal presentation and reports to various members of leadership Represent PCC on vendor and customer communications Leadership & Teamwork Lead small groups and be a resource for the Quality workforce Responsible for supporting customer specific Quality Engineers and keeping transfer projects on track Autonomy Tools, training, resources, and experience from colleagues to guide you and help you achieve your project objectives
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical Science field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in
Supplier Quality Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in Quality role Knowledge and demonstrated ability in engineering principles and disciplines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels of the organization Demonstrate a high degree of objectivity and integrity in the evaluation of people and problems
Desired Skills:
