We're working on behalf of a client to hire a Quality Engineer who wants to be close to the work—partnering with engineering and production, digging into data, and preventing issues before they reach the customer. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline 0-3 years of related experience (quality, manufacturing, engineering support, or similar) Working knowledge of quality standards and control methods Familiarity with root cause analysis; comfort using data and basic statistical approaches Strong written and verbal communication for reports, meetings, and updates Solid organization skills and a detail-focused work style Ability to manage priorities and deliver under deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar tools) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus Main duties: Build and improve quality controls, specifications, and standards to support consistent output Review designs, specifications, process documentation, and test methods for quality alignment Lead/assist investigations and root cause analysis on product or process concerns Coordinate corrective actions and process controls with multiple internal teams Inspect and evaluate materials, equipment, processes, and products against requirements Troubleshoot production or product problems and drive timely resolution Monitor quality performance and analyze trends/defects to identify improvement opportunities Create clear reports by gathering, interpreting, and summarizing key information Follow items through the manufacturing flow to confirm process steps are executed correctly Maintain thorough documentation, including quality reports and compliant records Draft and roll out SOPs and work instructions when needed Follow internal policies and protect confidential information Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals Perks & benefits: Direct-hire, exempt Quality Engineer role 1st shift schedule Competitive compensation (target range noted: $75,000-$85,000) plus benefits package Growth-focused environment with room to develop quality tools, CI skills, and credentials If you're ready to grow in a Quality Engineer position where your analysis and follow-through directly improve outcomes, apply today.
