About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support Quality Assurance activities within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems, resolving quality-related issues, ensuring product compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strong analytical problem-solver with experience in manufacturing quality systems, statistical process control, and customer-focused quality management. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and evaluate quality processes, inspection methods, sampling plans, and statistical techniques. Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. Investigate product defects, conduct root cause analysis, and lead corrective and preventive action activities. Review quality performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Support customer and supplier quality initiatives, including: PPAPs Control Plans First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) New Product Introductions (NPIs) Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality concerns. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Support measurement systems, including CTE and Bytewise laser technologies. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and initiatives to reduce scrap and DPPM. Train and mentor Associate Quality Engineers and other manufacturing personnel. Approve customer quality documentation and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements. Promote and support adherence to the company's Quality Management System. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field. Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality metrics. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or willingness to obtain certification within two years. Experience with ISO 9001 and/or
ISO 13485
quality systems. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and carry materials or tools throughout an 8-10 hour shift. Ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment operating up to 24 hours a day, 5 days per week. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Why Join Us?
