Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Customer Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Oak Creek, WI.

As the Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring customer quality requirements are met and for leading the resolution of customer quality issues across the product lifecycle. You will serve as the primary quality liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction,pliance with quality standards, and sustained product and process performance.

Responsibilities:

Lead customer quality issue resolution, including drivingpliance to the QMS and owning final response and closure of RCA

Act as the escalation point for high severity or critical customer issues to support overall customer satisfaction

Manage customer claims, quality concerns andplaints by ensuring timely containment, RCA, PA verification, response and closure using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone

Ensure root causes are evidence-based and corrective and preventative actions address systemic failure modes

Provide clear, timely, and professionalmunication regarding issue status, risks, and resolution plans to manage customer expectations

Lead customer audits with support of the QA Manager

Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with customer plant leadership and engineering organizations

Proactively identify potential quality risks and coordinate preventive actions

Ensure all customer specific requirements are understood, documented, and integrated into internal processes

Promotepliance with applicable quality management system requirements, including CSRs and IATF standards

Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve issues and implement improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Experience driving cross-functional teams without direct authority while creating an atmosp of collaboration and respect

Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate data and assess risk

Automotive industry and coatings experience including a working knowledge of

IATF 16949

Experience supporting customer and third-party audits

Ability to work in an office and manufacturing floor environment

Willingness for 10-15% regional travel to customer or supplier locations
