Job Description

Quality Control Engineer - 1st Shift
DIRECT HIRE
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (8am to 5pm with flexibility) Position Summary American Cable & Harness is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to support quality and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. This position will focus on ensuring wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Develop and maintain quality processes and procedures. Perform inspections, audits, and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Review customer drawings, specifications, BOMs, and work instructions. Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. #AP Work closely with Engineering and Production to improve processes and product quality. Support customer and internal quality requirements, including documentation and audits. Use quality tools such as GD&T, SPC, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods to identify and resolve issues. Maintain accurate quality records and documentation. Help identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and prevent recurring quality issues. Qualifications Experience in a Quality Engineering or manufacturing quality role. Experience with manufacturing processes and quality systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action, GD&T, and continuous improvement . Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electronics manufacturing, or similar products is a plus.

Pay:
$82,850.29 - $92,139.06 per year
