A Snapshot of the Experience You May Gain Assist in design and construction of water/wastewater related projects such as water storage tanks, pump stations, treatment systems, rural water infrastructure, and/or municipal facilities. Develop skills in report preparation, design, construction, and client management while supporting water/wastewater related projects. Perform construction observation and prepare site reports on water/wastewater related engineering projects. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Enrolled in a civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related degree program. An academic focus/emphasis in Water/Wastewater. Previous coursework or experience in water, wastewater, or rural water projects. Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime and/or weekends if project requires it. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel as required. Physical Qualifications Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
