(HEI) as a Water Resources Engineering Intern and put your knowledge and skills into action to help solve complex water management issues involving both water quantity and quality.

Job DescriptionAs an intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:



Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.



Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.



Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.



Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, etc.



Potential observation and data collection at different types of project sites.



Assist with research, development and design of projects.



We strive to provide a personalized internship based on your area of interest. QualificationsEnrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering program.



Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred.



Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions.



Above average math and communication skills.



Valid driver's license and availability for overnight travel.
