Full-Time | 8:00 AM

We partner with schools, districts, state agencies, and other organizations providing education and education related support to implement innovative, research-based solutions that promote student success. SPN fosters inclusive, high-performing learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Overview SPN is seeking a Texas state-certified, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) High School ELA Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in reading, writing, literature, and language skills. The ideal candidate will support English language development, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, and help students build strong literacy and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons aligned to Texas state standards
  • Support literacy development, critical reading, and effective writing skills
  • Differentiate instruction based on student needs, language ability, and learning styles
  • Integrate English language development strategies into instruction
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement; maintain accurate grade records
  • Provide timely feedback and communicate high expectations to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes
  • Utilize technology and student information systems (SIS) for instruction and reporting Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas Teaching Certification (ELA / English, Grades 6-12 preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • ESL Certified or in process of obtaining certification
  • Ability to pass federal background check requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in English, literacy, or education
  • Experience working with English language learners
  • Familiarity with technology-based instruction and blended learning
  • Experience with project-based or inquiry-based learning Skills & Abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex texts and writing concepts for diverse learners
  • Classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform classroom activities as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary $79,000
Includes:
