Job Description

The Entry Level Crew Member is an employee of a 3-to-5 man crew on a well servicing rig. The Entry Level Crew Member works as part of a team to ensure all daily operational activities are performed in accordance to Tiger Well Services Policies and procedures to guarantee the safety for our employees and service delivery to our customers. Safety is a priority and considered one of Tiger Well Services fundamental principles, and we are seeking team members who also strive for safety to be the top priority. A successful Entry Level Crew Member will have a willingness to learn a task, comprehend the task that they learned, and then ability to complete the task in a fast pace environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The number one essential duty and responsibility of an Entry Level Crew Member is to learn. Coming in with minimal to no experience we are teaching you from the ground up. Learning the tools that are used out on location and being able to explain what the tools essential task is ( what we use it for to complete a step in the procedure). You will also be learning the proper procedure and steps for different jobs that are completed by the workover rig. You are learning the hazards of the job and how to safely report those hazards as well. Assist in rigging up and down. Responsible for elevated work associated with rigging up/down (example: removing horse head from pumping unit. Responsible for all work performed related to servicing of the well including rod basket and tubing board (transferring rods and tubing from the vertical racks to the elevator). Learning to operate tubing elevators for standing tubing in the derrick. supports in picking up or laying down tubing. Responsible for verbally and possibly written communication of all safety concerns, hazards or potential hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries. Required to learning and working both the floors and derricks on the rig as needed. Learns and is able to perform PPE, fall protection, fall arrest system, harness, derrick, and hoisting component inspections as required. Pulls and lays down rods, tubing, casing, and other equipment as needed. Learning to operate safely forklifts and loaders that are required to perform tasks required to complete work on location. Participates in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) daily, along with retaining the information and using the information to perform daily tasks safely for current location. Responsible for keeping work site, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order (Leave it better and cleaner then you found it). Assists in the daily inspection and maintenance of equipment. Learns to successfully perform elevator handling, hardline construction and energy isolation procedures. Drives crew truck as needed if they are a licensed driver with a clean driving record per Tiger Well Services Guidelines. All other duties assigned to them.
Requirements:
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work in a team setting. Ability to lift 75 pounds and handle physically demanding work. Flexible schedule during hitch overtime is a requirement. Must be able to report to work on time and fit for duty. Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication Must be able to pass pre employment drug and alcohol screening and participate in monthly drug screenings. Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work.
Benefits:
Tiger Well Service Offers a 20/10 Hitch Schedule. What that means is you will work 20 days on and have 10 days off. Note Hitches are assigned by our HR Manager under the guidelines of what hitch needs which people. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is available after 60 days employment to the employee and employees dependents. Tiger Well Service covers half up to $500.00 monthly of the cost of insurance. Tiger Well Service has Employee housing available to employees only. No Animals allowed in Employee Housing. Employees at Tiger Well Service are also Offered an Employee Housing Addition for once employee meets SSE Guidelines. Employees who live locally will receive $45.00 daily when on a work over rig added to there check. They are able to start receiving this once they have completed SSE Training EAP - $50.00/Daily while on income producing rig. Safety Pay $35.00/Daily while on income producing rig. Must be at least 18. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. mechanical skills and proof of hard labor are a must. Must be able to work in high places.
